How to find King's Chapel

Public transportation

The church is near three MBTA public transit stops:

Government Center on the Green Line (walk away from City Hall Plaza on Cambridge Street, crossing State Street where Cambridge becomes Tremont Street, and continuing one block to the corner of School Street).

State Street on the Orange Line (walk up Court Street, which runs into State Street, to Cambridge Street, which becomes Tremont Street, and turn left; walk one block to the corner of School Street).

Park Street on the Green and Red Lines (walk away from Boston Common on Tremont Street, with Park Street Church on your left, to School Street).

By car

From the North

Take Route 1 or I-93 south to the Storrow Drive (West) exit. Leave Storrow Drive at the Government Center exit and follow signs to Government Center. You will be on Cambridge Street, which becomes Tremont Street at Court Street, just beyond City Hall Plaza (a large bricked plaza on your left). As you drive around the curved Center Plaza on your right, you will find an entrance to a parking garage (One Beacon Street). Keep left as you go down the ramp. Enter the gate on your left. Your parking ticket will be validated at the church for parking during services and concerts. The cost is $6 for validated parking. The church is across the street from the parking garage at the corner of School Street.

From the South

Follow Route 3 or I-93 north to the Storrow Drive exit. Follow the directions above.

From the West

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) east to the Allston/Brighton exit. After the tollboth, take the first exit ramp on the right. At the second traffic light turn right onto Storrow Drive east. Leave Storrow Drive at the Government Center exit. Follow the signs to Government Center. You will be on Cambridge Street. Follow the directions above.
